The Morzine-Les Gets family ski area has thought of everything by adapting and installing first-time skiing areas and slopes designed for beginners.

Interactive and fun areas to learn to ski but also to understand the wild life of the mountain.
Sledging areas are also accessible at the foot and at the top of the slopes to enjoy a moment of skiing without putting on skis.

During the French school holidays, we choose activities aimed at families. Some activities, and more specifically theme weeks such as "Morzine village enchanté" or "Morzine Royaume des Marmots" have been very successful for several years now... Over time, they have become essential events for some of our customers.

Alpin Ski

Morzine's exceptional geographical location offers skiers of all levels a huge choice to satisfy their desires for skiing and to experience new sensations. Located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area and its 600 km of skiing (diverse and varied slopes, in undergrowth, wide, easy, fun, alpine and steep, bumpy, snow parks, etc.), the Morzine resort remains an immense playground with multiple facets.

From the majestic view of Mont Blanc to the larch forest, passing through snowy mountain pastures, the Morzine ski area offers a "ski-in" departure from the Pléney sector, with its covered conveyor belts and beginner slopes, as well as quick access to the legendary giant slalom stadium for competitors.

The firts cross-border Ski area

The Portes du Soleil area, in addition to being the first Franco-Swiss cross-border area, is also one of the largest ski areas in the Alps. Between France and Switzerland, the area offers you a majestic panorama and a total change of scenery!

An Alpine area with endless possibilities

600 km of skiing and 208 ski lifts are at your disposal to explore the 12 Franco-Swiss resorts in the area.
The area also offers many snow sports activities: slopes dedicated to new snow sports, ski touring, cross-country and snowshoeing routes, sleigh rides or snowmobile rides, etc. You won't have time to get bored! On the slopes, it is possible to start your skiing in France and finish in Switzerland and vice versa...

If you are a beginner, don't be afraid, the Portes du Soleil ski area in the French and Swiss Alps has slopes for all levels:
green slopes suitable for learning, blue slopes to get started gently, red slopes to move up to the next level, and black slopes to ensure athletes get their fill of strong emotions.

Nyon Experience:

Le Pas de l’Aigle: the immensity of the Alps beneath your feet!
Perched at an altitude of 2,019 metres, the Pas de l’Aigle offers its visitors a unique dizzying sensation. A 15-metre footbridge, boldly attached to the mountain, offers a strong sensation that promises to make your heart beat very fast. It offers you 350 metres of emptiness and a breathtaking panorama between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva. Prepare yourself for a memorable adventure!
You can also admire the sculpture created by Robert Vernet, an artist from Morzine…
Access is by ski via the Pointe de Nyon chairlift.

Snowshoeing:
In Nyon, set off on a winter adventure on snowshoes! This adventure will allow you to discover the natural beauty of this peaceful little corner of Morzine.
This experience offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the middle of the snow-covered fir trees.

To entertain the little ones and learn more about the local wildlife, go for a short educational walk. The departure is right next to the cable car for a duration of 30-45 minutes. Throughout the walk, you will find information panels on the local wildlife. Thanks to the Locafaune application, you can even note the animals spotted and participate in the conservation work.

LES AIGLES DU LEMAN:

Ski with the Eagles*:
Come and live an extraordinary experience by skiing alongside an Eagle.
This unique activity in the world offered by the Aigles du Léman offers holidaymakers practicing winter sports an unforgettable adventure.
Take the chairlift with the Eagle and hurtle down the snowy slopes while watching it soar above and next to you. A moment out of time with this spectacular bird of prey while enjoying the sumptuous landscapes of Morzine.

Race with a gyrfalcon and try to win a falconry course! The

Shows:
Enjoy two daily shows at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. from Saturday to Thursday lasting 20 minutes, combining education and humor. A great opportunity to discover the beauty of birds of prey but also to understand their fragility.

Falconry course:
Discover birds of prey in the presence of a falconer, possibility of wearing 3 different birds of prey on the glove (owl, owl and buzzard) and making them fly, possibility of taking photos.

The Morzine Nordic ski area is ideal for discovering Nordic skiing

Biathlon (a sport combining Nordic skiing and rifle shooting) or improving your skills in both disciplines. The Nordic skiing sectors in Morzine are as follows: Vallée de La Manche sector, this wild valley, without any ski lifts, between 1100 and 1400 m above sea level is the ideal place to discover Nordic activities. The sector offers a beautiful cross-country ski trail and a path for walking or snowshoeing. As it is the same route, pedestrians and snowshoers are asked to respect the cross-country trail (double rails).

You can take the trail on foot from the centre of Morzine or go directly to Erigné by car or free shuttle (line E). The path follows the Dranse (river), so it is accessible from the many bridges that line the valley.

A few inns, in Erigné or on the way to Lac des Mines d’Or, allow you to take a break and eat.
