Kick off the Summer with an Ultra in the mountains! A new event for 2025, Morzine and Avoriaz will play host to a 23K, 50K, 100K and Vertical Kilometer race over the weekend.

Pass'Portes du Soleil

Explore the huge Portes du Soleil area with this epic mountain bike event covering 80km, two countries, 13 lifts, 720m of climbing, and 5700m of downhill.

The event has expanded over the years and now also includes specific events for e-bikes, gravel bikes, and even pedestrians. It’s a great way to discover the expansive area that’s right on Morzine’s doorstep!

Spartan Ultra World Championship & Trifecta Weekend

Billed as "the Spartan weekend of the summer", the event has something for everyone. Choose from the Sprint 5K, Super 10K, Beast 21K or even the Ultra 50K...And there's a shorter course for the kids!

If that all sounds like too much effort, you’ll be glad to know that part of the course snakes its way around town so you can relax and watch everyone tackle the crazy obstacles instead!

Tour de France Femmes

Ètape 9 of the Tour de France Femmes will be passing through Morzine this summer!

The Praz-sur-Arly to Châtel mountain stage will take riders from Samoens up over the Col de Joux-Plane and Col du Ranfolly before descending into Morzine, through Le Biot and over the Col du Corbier to finish in Châtel.
